THANKS GIVING PARADE !!!

Thanksgiving Day is a fun-filled event that you can enjoy with your family and friends. This occasion brings families closer and helps them build their family ties. A Thanksgiving Day parade is an event that is full of fun and people from all parts of America enjoy watching these parades.

The True Spirit of Thanksgiving is the symbolic representation of the establishment of peace on earth by peace between and among nations.  Floats of trees ,  animals and cartoons are there .On the float you will see the four roots, which are outstretched to the four directions so that all people may be be able to find their way to the great peace and be sheltered beneath it’s tender branches. The floats had messages which pay homage to the thankful harvest ceremonies of Indian people that were first shared with the newcomers to this land, as well as the thankful hearts of the Indian people as they shared all of their blessings with the wandering pilgrims.
Melissa as usual took me to this memorable event. Her mother asked me to wear layers to protect myself from the cold, gave me scarf and mittens to wear. I was really in a bundle of clothes and yet shivering. Melissa gave me some warmers to put into the mittens and shoes and I was warm to enjoy the Parade. Thanks to Melissa and family!

THE CROWD WAITING PATIENTLY !!!  EVEN IN THE COOL WEATHER!!!

THE PARADE ENDS WITH SANTA RIDING!!!
After the parade on 24th November I went with Mrs.Barb for the thanks giving dinner. I was stuffed with lot of food and drenched with the love and affection showered by all the members of her family. Yes , i felt as if I was one among them.
